Common questions.

I'm just starting out. Is this right for me?

Yes. The Mini and Look Book packages are specifically designed for models building their first portfolio or updating their comp cards. You don't need agency representation to book — Nils will guide you through every pose and look. The goal is to get you images that get you representation, not images that require you to already have it.

What should I bring to a modeling session?

For agency submissions: neutral, form-fitting basics — a white t-shirt, dark jeans, simple dress. Agencies want to see you, not the outfit. For look book or editorial sessions, bring a range of options — we'll discuss and plan looks in advance. Keep makeup natural unless we've agreed otherwise. Hair should be clean and styled but versatile.

Which agencies can I submit these photos to?

Any agency you're interested in. The images meet the standard expected by major agencies in Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. We're not scouts or affiliated with any specific agency — but Nils can advise on what different types of agencies are looking for based on your look and goals.

Do you do hair and makeup?

We don't provide in-house hair and makeup, but we can refer you to trusted MUA and hair stylists in Toronto who work regularly with our studio. For editorial and lookbook sessions, working with a stylist is strongly recommended — reach out and we'll connect you.

How many final images will I receive?

The number of retouched images is specified in each package (1 for Mini, 3 for Look Book, chosen images for Editorial). You'll also receive all unretouched digitals from the session. Additional retouched images can be added at $35 each (editorial) or $50 each (beauty).
