We shoot

We direct every pose — you don't need to know what to do with your hands. The camera is tethered to a laptop so you can see your shots in real time on a large screen as we go.

Before You Book

What makes a great
LinkedIn photo.

Expression

Approachable, not stiff

The best LinkedIn photos have a natural, relaxed expression — confident without looking like a passport photo. We'll coach you through it. Most people are surprised how easy it is once the camera is rolling.

Wardrobe

Wear what you'd wear to work

A suit, smart casual, or whatever fits your industry. Solid colours work better than busy patterns. Avoid pure white if you're shooting against a light background. We'll send a simple prep guide when you book.

Background

Clean and distraction-free

We offer white, black, and textured backdrops. For LinkedIn, a clean light or medium grey is usually the strongest choice — it keeps attention on your face and works across every platform and device.

Framing

Head and shoulders

LinkedIn crops your photo to a circle in most views. We frame and retouch with this in mind — your face centred, shoulders visible, nothing cropped in an awkward spot.

Lighting

Professional, not harsh

We use studio-quality lights with large softboxes for natural, flattering light. No on-camera flash, no harsh shadows. The 61MP Sony sensor picks up every detail — which means our retouching has room to be subtle and natural.

Retouching

Real, just better

We remove minor blemishes and make light adjustments so you look like yourself on a good day — not an airbrushed version. The goal is a photo your colleagues will recognise when they meet you in person.

FAQ

Common questions.

Genuinely the most common thing people say before they arrive — and the last thing they say when they leave. We direct every part of the shoot: where to look, how to hold your shoulders, what to do with your hands. You don't need to know anything about posing. Nils has been doing this for 20 years and has a specific talent for making people comfortable in front of the lens. Most sessions involve a lot of laughing.
Standard delivery is within 24 hours of your session. If you select your image on the day, we can often turn it around the same afternoon. Rush delivery (within 4 hours) is available on request — ask when you book.
This hasn't happened yet — but we take it seriously. Because you review shots on a laptop screen in real time during the session, you'll know before you leave whether you have something you're happy with. If something isn't working, we adjust on the spot. We'd rather spend an extra five minutes getting it right than have you leave unsure.
We're at 170 Sumach St in Regent Park — just off Dundas St E, between River St and Parliament St. The closest streetcar stop is Regent Park East on the 505 line, about a 1-minute walk. There's paid parking in the building garage — drive in and take the ramp on your left. We're open Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
Of course. Having a familiar face in the room can actually help with nerves. If your colleague wants their own session at the same time, book them a separate slot — each session runs back to back with no gaps.
